Why the suburb doesn't matter

Being local stopped being the point.

Bookkeeping used to mean someone driving to your office with a folder. It hasn't for years. Your file lives in Xero or QuickBooks, your bank feeds in automatically, and the work happens wherever the person doing it is sitting.

What matters now is who is reading it.

So while a good many clients are in Carnegie, Malvern East, Camberwell, Toorak, St Kilda, Richmond, South Yarra, Prahran, Armadale, Balaclava, Glen Iris and South Melbourne, plenty are in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, and it makes no practical difference to any of them.

What's different here

We tell you what it means.

A video, monthly

Not a PDF you open, glance at and close again. A recorded walkthrough of what happened, what changed, and what it means for the decision in front of you.

What you kept

Revenue is the number you can already recite. What you actually keep is the one you can't. Every month you'll see both, and understand the gap.

No tax ambush

BAS preparation and lodgement sit inside your monthly fee. No separate invoice in the week it's due, no scramble, no surprise.

What it costs

From $650 a month.

Three tiers, fixed monthly fees, BAS included in all of them. What you pay depends on transaction volume, whether there's payroll, and how often you want the numbers in front of you.

Questions you're too polite to ask

The honest answers.

Do you work with businesses outside Melbourne?

Yes. Bookkeeping and BAS are delivered remotely and available anywhere in Australia, because BAS agent registration is national. Melbourne is simply where we're based, and where a good many clients happen to be.

Do we need to meet in person?

No. Everything runs remotely: cloud accounting, video calls and a recorded monthly walkthrough. Melbourne clients are welcome to meet in person, but nobody has to.

How much does a bookkeeper cost in Melbourne?

Here, fixed monthly bookkeeping starts at $650 a month excluding GST, with BAS preparation and lodgement included. Fees depend on transaction volume, payroll and how often you need the numbers, and every quote is fixed before work starts.

My books are a mess. Is that a problem?

It's the normal starting point. Catch-up work is quoted separately and upfront so you know exactly what it costs before anything begins.
